If your idea of a vacation is in the campsite in the middle of fragrant nature and along kilometers of coastline, you will love Lanterna on the west coast of Istria, near Poreč and Novigrad. With 4* and lots of sporting and entertainment amenities, Camping Lanterna is an ideal place for a complete family vacation.

Within the campsite there are different zones with sites in the oak forest and mobile homes along the 3 km of coast. The spacious mobile homes with covered terraces provide the ultimate in comfort, while many are decorated in Istrian style. As of 2016 you can choose Mediterranean homes with the gorgeous Mediterranean Garden Village Premium garden, and Marine Premium Village sailor homes decorated in sailor style, as well as 7 new glamping tents in the Tar Bay. Your children will be particularly cheered up by the new aqua park with water slides and a pirate ship, playgrounds and swimming pools, and various programs and activities in the Maro Club. Those who are slightly older will be entertained in the Teens Club or by numerous water sports.

Our campsite gives you everything - from the Mediterranean surroundings, spacious sites, and mobile homes, to the enchanting views of the sea and high-quality services, and it is rightly considered one of the best campsites in Istria and in Croatia.

Camping Lanterna is also the only Istrian campsite in the "Leading Campings of Europe" Association.

Spacious pitches

You’ll find a range of 7 different types of pitches either right next to the sea or in the shade of beautiful Mediterranean parkland. With clusters of accommodation situated in different locations, Camping Lanterna actually feels like several campsites in one. The superb sea views and stunning natural surroundings ensure a quality camping experience on these spacious and comfortable pitches. Luxury pitches situated on the most attractive locations right next to the sea feature a barbecue and parasol, while for the ultimate camping accommodation, an exclusive mega-luxury pitch offers 200 square metres of space plus the enviable bonus of direct access to the beach!

Entertainment and animation from sunrise to midnight

Day and night there’s always something to see and do at Camping Lanterna. Start the morning with some gentle exercise, or wake up those muscles with aqua aerobics and step classes. Throughout the day the activities continue with a range of land and water-based sports such as table tennis and snorkelling. Explorers can take to the numerous hike and bike trails to journey through the glorious landscapes of the Lanterna peninsula or experience the medieval charm of old Poreč town. While the younger ones join in the exciting fun and games at Maro Club, parents can discover their creative side at art workshops featuring classes in drawing, pottery and other craftwork. From children’s theme days to family sports tournaments, the fun never stops at Camping Lanterna.
